at the Marlowe Halau Hale afterwards.  Potluck lunch (please bring your favorite lunch dish to share).  Cultural

October 16, Saturday: tentative date for Adopt-A-Highway trash pickup.  Save the date, for now!
Classes cancelled from February 8 to 12.
April 5, Monday: New For Beginners Hula Class for Women starts, 7 to 8 p.m., every Monday, for 6
weeks (may continue past 6 weeks if you desire), Cottonwood Civic Center.  Cost for class: $48 payable
at the first class.
June 19, Saturday: John Keawe in Concert, Ruth Street Theater in Prescott,
evening.  
We have been asked to be the opening performance before the Concert.  There will
be a signup sheet in your classes.
April 5, Monday: 'Ukulele classes start, taught by Patrick Inouye (from Volcano, Hawaii), 'ukulele luthier (maker).  
Dust off that 'ukulele in your closet and come learn basic chords and basic strumming techniques.  'Ukulele and
tuner are required items.  Email me for more details if you don't have one. Every Monday, 5-6 p.m., Cottonwood
Civic Center, $8 per class.
April 27, Tuesday: annual hula show for the residents of Cottonwood Village, 6 to 7 p.m.,
Auditorium.
March 13-14: Arizona Aloha Festival: please check website www.azalohafest.org for any
updates on the 2010 Festival.  
Mandatory Arizona Aloha Festival Rehearsals, Wednesday nights at the Cottonwood Civic Center.
